Hi Everyone,
It's been a really busy time at ERC with our first ever Easingwold 10k, George Becton Scratch event and Club Championship race at Sessay Swift 6k among the highlights.
As ever we've continued with our Monday, Tuesday and Thursday activities and quite a few of you have squeezed in parkrun.
Hopefully you've managed to have a look at the excellent Easingwold 10k photos from the event and there is a nice article and pictures in this week's Easingwold advertiser.
Entries are now open for next year at a discounted rate of £16 until the end of this month, the date next year is the 26th July.
Enter here. It is almost certain to be a Club Championship event again next year :-)
We've had a flurry of new members as well, most of whom did the Novice 10k course and the 10k itself.
A big ERC welcome to the club for Dan Taylor, Guy Richards, Rachael Ashurst, Hilary Dutton, Alison Truckle, Katie Anfield, Abby Partington, Kathrin Fleming-Nicol, Katie Knott.
The times from the George Becton scratch have been analysed and the start times generated for Thursday 14th August George Becton cup race.
Please don't forget to book for Pizza Chips and Salad after at the Olive Branch where we will gather for a post race social. Book here.
Race final instructions will be sent out next week.
Sessay Swift was held in great running conditions and an impressive 36 members ran ever so well on the short flat road course.
The entry was of a high standard with fast times, first home for ERC was Julian (21:21 also 3rd M40) and Laura in 25:46.
The Championship results have been posted here.
Well done everyone!
