Training

However busy your schedule is and however fast or competitive you are, we have training sessions that will help you become a better runner - or just run for fun. We usually run in groups of differing ability:

Black: Advanced runners. Normal 10K time under 42 minutes.

Red: Upper intermediate runners. Normal 10K time between 42.01-49 minutes and be happy to run up to 7-8 miles per session.

Orange: Intermediate runners: Normal 10K time between 49.01-56 minutes and be happy to run 5-6 miles per session.

Yellow: Lower intermediate runners: Normal 10K time 56.01-63 minutes and be able to run 4 to 5.5 miles per session.

Green: For steadier runners: Normal 10K time over 63 minutes or for beginners who are able to run 5K. Groups normally run between 3.5 and 5 miles per session.

Walking Group: For anyone either recovering from injury or just fancies a chat rather than a run.

If you are not sure which group you should be in, please check with a coach.
