The 12th August was the 12th race of our championship, the Sessay Swift 6k. It was a lovely friendly event as always, with the added excitement of a partial solar eclipse! Thank you to Jacqui for kindly letting lots of us view the eclipse through her eclipse glasses.

Well done to the 38 runners who made it round on a hot sunny evening. Congratulations to Julian Ollive and Megan Remmer who were first back for ERC. Well done to Sally-Anne Lardner who was first in her age category.

Megan's strong performance returns her to the top of the ladies championship with Ed Duffield continuing to lead the men's competition. 

Our next championship fixture is Tholthorpe 10k on September 6th followed by Sutton on Forest 10k on 27th September.
