We had 13 runners take part in our 15th race of the club championship, the Grewelthorpe Multi-terrain race on Sunday 12th October. I believe it's quite an undulating course, but it was a beautiful day to be on the trails. Congratulations to David Brogan and Megan Remmer who were first back for ERC.

The men's competition is currently headed up by Neil King, after gaining maximum points from both his Grewelthorpe and parkrun performances. Julian Ollive and Ed Duffield are in 2nd and 3rd. Megan Remmer is the winner of the women's competition, with Nicola Convy and Pippa Hutton currently in 2nd and 3rd.

Our next championship fixture is Guy Fawkes 10 on 2nd November, followed by our own Sutton on Forest Club XC on 16th November (entries open soon). This is then followed by the NYSD XC Summerhill, which is the last race of the championship year.

Don't forget the marathon floating event is open until 30th November for submissions. Good luck to anyone taking part in a marathon this Autumn.
