The York and District Road Race League came to Easingwold on Tuesday 23rd May and what a fantastic evening it was. Easingwold Running Club organised the event and Neil King and his team put together a safe and enjoyable evening. We had 409 runners in total with 37 representing Easingwold in this 10k event. The route takes you from Millfield in Easingwold up to Crayke, with a tough hill climb before you can enjoy the views from the top of Crayke bank. A nice downhill section takes you down Daffy Lane with a finish back at Millfield. The sun was still shining at the end as well!
On behalf of Easingwold Running Club, I would like to thank the residents of Easingwold and Crayke for their support of this event. Events like these put Easingwold and the surrounding area on the map in a very positive way and we appreciate your help in making it a success.
